Grazille

Im Jahr 1981 erblickte Grazille das Licht der Welt. Als Siebenjähriger begann er seine musikalische Reise, indem er anfing, Klavier zu lernen. Als typisches Wendekind machte er mit 14 Jahren seine ersten elektronischen Bekanntschaften im damals bekannten Mux-Club und später in der GST.

Sofort fühlte er sich zu dieser nach vorne treibenden Musik hingezogen. Dieses herzklopfähnliche Drücken der Bässe lässt ihn bis heute nicht los. Vor seinem 18. Geburtstag stand er allerdings immer nur auf der dem DJ zugewandten Seite und genoss die Musik in vollen Zügen. Die Entscheidung, selbst Musik zu machen, kam ihm schon damals, doch diesen Schritt wagte er erst später.

Als er 2005 in England zum Arbeiten war, trafen mehrere Faktoren zusammen, die ihn zu seinem ersten Plattenkauf trieben. Die Einflüsse aus seiner Jugend waren deutlich zu spüren, denn die ersten Scheiben waren die Hacker EP von Miss Kitten und die Single Flash von Green Velvet.

Allerdings war es in England schwer, solche Scheiben zu spielen, also legte er auf den ersten Underground-Partys eher Funkhouse mit Jazzeinflüssen auf. Bis heute ist er sich treu geblieben, und seine Jugendjahre nach der Wende sind in seiner Trackauswahl immer noch spürbar.

Born in 1981, Grazille began his musical journey at the age of seven when he started learning to play the piano. As a typical child of the post-reunification era, he made his first encounters with electronic music at the age of fourteen in the then well-known Mux Club and later at the GST.

He was immediately drawn to this forward-driving sound. This heart-pounding pressure of the bass has never let go of him to this day. Before turning eighteen, he always found himself on the dancefloor side of the DJ booth, fully immersed in the music. The decision to make music himself was already present back then, but he only took that step later on.

In 2005, while working in England, several factors came together that led to his first record purchase. The influences of his youth were clearly noticeable, as his first records included the Hacker EP by Miss Kitten and the single Flash by Green Velvet.

However, it was difficult to play such records in England, so at his first underground parties he played more funk-driven house with jazz influences. To this day, he has remained true to himself, and the formative years of his youth after the reunification can still be heard in his track selection.
